No Publisher wants to lose. Mundfish successfully surprised fans with the announcement of Atomic Heart 2 and a spin-off titled The Cube. Cold Symmetry announced Mortal Shell II is ready to continue their soulslike tradition. Sega also presents a big surprise through Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, a kart racing game with cross-play features and collaborative characters from Persona to Hatsune Miku.
The Appeal Of Indie Games Is No Less Tempting
Another portion of the Summer Game Fest 2025 was devoted to indie developers through the Day of the Devs segment. These three games: Fractured Blooms, Infinitesimals, and Mixtape, have attracted most of the attention because of their distinctive artistry and novel gameplay. In the SGF series, Xbox was also a part of a separate showcase.
